RDF is a development organization that provides financial assistance to Hispanic communities to develop facilities for low-income families. Their previous site was confusing to navigate, offered only limited ability to update, and didn’t offer tools for doing business.
The challenge was to maintain the feel of a trusted financial organization without losing the human connection with the real people they are continually inspired to help. After a number of iterations we landed on a site design that met the needs of two distinct audiences: Institutional investors evaluating the health and professionalism of RDF and community activists in individual communities looking for assistance.
The site was built on the Adobe BusinessCatalyst platform, which offered an economical way to get full content management, private areas for conducting business online, and email marketing all in one.
