The State Bar of Arizona is a public advocacy organization and governing body for the practice of law in Arizona. Their web site had been heavily fragmented due to the many priorities of the organization and needed a fresh start. Led by a committee created for the purpose, the Bar sought outside help to create a new design and structure for their internal team to implement.
Invited to lead the project by Lucky Dog Creative, I took the committee through a series of workshops and discussions to align goals and expectations. Over several days I interviewed a segment of the 200 staff members to augment the committee’s perspective. Armed with real data points and a plethora of anecdotes, I created an aesthetic, page layout, and site structure that served a wide range of organizational and technical requirements.
I delivered xHTML/CSS pages that were ready for prime time, which the internal IT team implemented on the Umbraco CMS.
