Stratascale is a startup offering high end hosting and infrastructure outsourcing. Indiginus was hired to create an online experience that clarified their complicated offerings and generated leads for their inside sales team to foster. Their online shop, based on Magento, was also in need of overhaul to allow for a highly customized buying experience.
Our job started with interviews among sales, engineering, support, and management staff. A series of group workshops built consensus around the goals of the project and seeded the creative process. Information architecture and wireframes followed, along with a prototype of the commerce pipeline. Next was a robust creative process based on a newly defined brand and corporate identity.
Working closely with both marketing and engineering, the main site was implemented with expanded content using ExpressionEngine. The commerce pipeline got a spring cleaning, a new custom Magento theme, and a entirely custom ordering experience powered by jQuery.
