Nish Bhutani

Founder & CEO

Nish Bhutani is a seasoned internet entrepreneur and executive, digital strategist, thought leader and angel investor with experience in Silicon Valley, Europe and India. He was most recently Global Head of Products at PCCW-owned Vuclip, where he led a product team for the video streaming service VIU in India, SE Asia and the Middle East. Prior to Vuclip, Nish was SVP at fashion e-tailer Myntra.

As COO at omni-channel auction house Saffronart, Nish led the brand and mobile transformation of Saffronart, helping it set global records for the sale of a single item ($235,000) and bid on a single item ($1.3 million) via a mobile app. Nish co-founded Arts Alliance Media (AAM) in the UK, which incubated and grew businesses in the digital cinema and video space. Nish was on the board and management team of UK based Lovefilm, which AAM acquired as an early stage startup, and grew to be the largest home video subscription service in Europe. Lovefilm was the first company globally to release a Hollywood major motion picture online (King Kong, in 2006). The company was acquired by Amazon in 2011, becoming the basis for Prime Video in Europe.

In San Francisco and Silicon Valley, Nish was SVP and Publisher at NASDAQ-listed CNET, leading major online media properties CNET.com, Shopper.com and Download.com. He started his career as an engineer and engineering manager at Oracle, where he worked on some of the earliest digital media projects in the industry. Nish is a columnist for The Mint newspaper, writing on AI in the workplace, and Digital businesses and consumers. He has an MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School, and BS and MS degrees in Engineering from Stanford University.

Rajesh is a serial entrepreneur and business builder who has set-up multiple successful businesses over the last two decades. He is the co-founder of InnerChef, India's fastest growing food tech platform. Rajesh is also the founder of GSF, India’s leading multi-city tech startup accelerator for the brightest tech startups in India. GSF provides startups mentorship from celebrated digital founders, initial capital and global exposure.

At GSF, Rajesh is architecting the vital building blocks of a nascent early stage startup ecosystem in India. Rajesh has made 70 angel investments as an active and engaged angel investor, which include Viki (acquired by Rakutan for USD 225M), Little Eye Labs (acquired by Facebook), Mobstac, Pokkt, Silverpush, Hackerearth, Docsapp, Whatfix, Daily Rounds, Flintobox, Quizizz, Weareholidays (acquired by Cox & King), Instalively (acquired by Hike Messenger) and Nightstay (Acquired by Paytm).

Rajesh brought private radio (Times FM) to India in the early nineties, redefining Indian youth culture. He was at the cusp of early internet culture in India in the early 2000s, building Indiatimes.com, the most valuable internet business in India in 2005 (funded by Sequoia).

As the founding President of Reliance Entertainment, Rajesh oversaw the corporatization of mom and pop Bollywood businesses into a multi-billion dollar industry. He led the biggest investment deal (Dreamworks) between Hollywood and Bollywood. Rajesh serves on multiple boards, including that of Indiamart (India's target B2B marketplace) and advises Trident Capital, a prominent venture firm based in Palo Alto, California. Rajesh is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School (AMP), and has a fellowship from the London School of Economics.

Data Strategist and Scientist

Ankit Solanki is a technology and data science strategist, architect and evangelist with patents in the domain of search and segmentation. He founded Instinct Innovations in 2015. This technology startup digitizes the pharmaceutical supply chain, enabling information symmetry across different nodes in the pharma eco-system. The company works closely with pharma retailers, distributors, clinics and pathology labs, with its Redbook retail software.

Ankit was the Solution Architect at Bamboo System, where he helped create a technology product that delivering context aware, event triggered digital experiences on personal devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops/PCs, smart TVs and wearable computing devices. He played the same role on behalf of Entropy Consultants, for various private and public sector banks. He was the Lead Data Scientist at Fractal Products, the R&D arm of Fractal Analytics, where he led the data science team in building products in the search and segmentation domain. Prior to this, he was a Semantic Engineer at Mobius Innovations in Singapore (acquired by Fractal), where he designed and built a context-aware mobile advertising platform using machine learning and pattern recognition.

Ankit has experience in various Big Data frameworks including Hadoop, Titan and Storm, and expertise in natural language processing; AI/machine learning and data mining. He has a Master’s degree in AI from the National University of Singapore, and a bachelor’s degree in IT (first class) from Mumbai University.

Product and Digital Marketing Specialist

Atibhi is a digital product professional, with over 16 years of experience in helping businesses successfully leverage and reach out to their audience, primarily on mobile devices. She has the ability to create exceptional experiences on mobile devices with a user-centric approach, aligned with business objectives, and on scalable platforms.

She has deep experience in mobile marketing. While at Mindshare, she led mobile advertising for the APAC region. In this capacity, she worked with leading global brands such as Ford, Unilever, and GSK on their mobile marketing strategies.

Atibhi's ability to translate market requirements into product strategies comes from her experience with Yahoo! as a Regional Product Manager, Mobile for over 5 years. While at Yahoo, she built and scaled the company’s mobile presence in the SEA region across their mobile sites and applications ecosystem.

Atibhi has designed mobile marketing courseware for Manipal Global Education Services, and has spoken on mobile media at the Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication and other educational institutes. She is deeply engaged with the startup community as a speaker and writer, and was featured on India’s Young Turks on CNBC TV and covered in Sheroes, a platform for women entrepreneurs.

Atibhi has an MBA from the IES Management College and Research Centre, a certified Project Management Professional from the Institute of Project Management, and is HFI (Human Factor Interface) certified in mobile & mobile web design. She is a graduate of the Sydenham College of Commerce in Mumbai.
